We’re currently seeking an experienced Title Abstractor to join our team! This role requires a detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of residential title work, including Current Owner Reports, Two Owner Searches, Foreclosure Reports, and 30-Year Searches.

Responsibilities/Requirements
- Examiner will be responsible for title abstracting and examination including but not limited to: abstracting, searching public records, identifying current ownership, title searching, ruling out voluntary and involuntary liens, comprehension of metes and bounds legal descriptions, obtaining relevant tax information.
- Search for and use County online databases (County Clerk, Appraisal District, Tax Assessor-Collector)
- Comprehension of Deed Chains, Deeds of Trust, Liens, Judgments, Plat Maps, Easements, CCR's, Probates, Divorces, Heirship Affidavits, Renewal and Extension Language, and be able to determine which documents should be shown on a report or search.
- Organized, detail oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
- Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a deadline driven environment.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years as a Title Examiner or Abstractor in a title or abstract company
- Strong comprehension of title documents, legal descriptions, and county records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Comfortable working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
