Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Per Diem
Schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts (As Needed)
Location: Middletown RI
Setting: Family shelter and Residential Group Home
Arbor Associates is seeking energetic and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for per diem coverage in a residential group home setting. This role supports adult males with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges and requires someone who is comfortable being hands-on, engaged, and consistent.

What you will do:

Support individuals in a structured group home environment

Assist with ADLs (hygiene, meals, daily routines)

Actively engage clients—this is not a sit-back role

Provide support around behavioral and developmental needs

Maintain consistency and communicate with the team
What we are looking for:

1st (7am - 3 pm), 2nd (3 pm - 11pm) and/ or 3rd (11pm - 7am) shift availability

Must be able to work in Middletown

Comfortable with behavioral challenges

Outgoing, hands-on, and reliable

Experience in DSP or human services is a plus

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements:
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Willingness to obtain additional on-the-job training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques, Medication Administration (MAP), or Safety Care as required for each worksite.
Reliable transportation & active, valid driver's license
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass extensive background screening, including fingerprinting background checks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as the role requires.
