Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced catering environment. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking duties or assisting culinary staff during busy periods.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health regulations.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies within the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
