We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items, including wine pairings and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently using POS system Toast
- ,bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold sanitation standards
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances the guest experience
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for bill calculation and sales processing; food safety and sanitation knowledge are essential
- Experience with food industry standards including food handling, serving etiquette, and guest relations is highly valued
