Superintendent - Commercial Construction (General Contractor)

Taurus Commercial, Inc. is a Dallas‑based Commercial General Contractor delivering industrial, healthcare, education, office, retail, and food service projects across North Texas.
We do not self‑perform trade work. Our Superintendents are the GC’s on‑site representative, responsible for coordinating all subcontractors, schedules, safety, inspections, and quality from mobilization through closeout.
GC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This role is only for candidates who have worked for a commercial GENERAL CONTRACTOR.
Qualified candidates have:
- 5+ years as a Superintendent or Superintendent/PM for a Commercial GC
- Experience with ground‑up commercial projects and interior renovations
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors across all trades
Not a fit for:
- Trade‑specific supervisors or foremen
- Residential or multifamily‑only backgrounds
Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day jobsite operations from start to finish
- Coordinate and sequence all subcontracted trades (sitework, shell, MEP, interiors)
- Enforce subcontractor scope, schedule, quality, and safety
- Maintain jobsite documentation (daily reports, RFIs, inspections, QA/QC)
- Resolve field issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality
- Serve as the GC’s primary on‑site representative
