Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Roving Porter / Landscape professional to join our team! In this versatile role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach will ensure that all areas are well-kept, inviting, and compliant with safety standards. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct janitorial and custodial duties across various facilities, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and appropriate care techniques to enhance appearance and safety.
- Support landscape maintenance by watering plants, trimming shrubs, removing debris, irrigation repair, and assisting with seasonal planting or landscaping projects.
- Carry out general facilities maintenance such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups (including residential painting), and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including cleaning large machinery or storage areas.
- Monitor safety hazards or maintenance issues in outdoor and indoor spaces and report them promptly for resolution.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work is highly desirable.
- Proven background in facilities maintenance or landscape work with a focus on outdoor environment upkeep.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or heavy-duty custodial tasks is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic painting skills for minor touch-ups or residential painting projects.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
