Morning Academic Support Tutor Needed – Rising 8th Grader (Franktown, CO)
We are seeking a dedicated, dependable tutor to work with our rising 8th grader Monday through Thursday mornings before school.
This role is about much more than homework help. We're looking for someone who can provide academic support while also helping him develop the organizational and executive functioning skills that will serve him well throughout school.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with homework completion
- Helping plan and manage long-term projects
- Preparing for quizzes and tests
- Teaching organizational skills, including:
- Keeping track of assignments and materials
- Monitoring upcoming due dates and tests
- Planning when to study and complete work
- Building consistent routines and accountability
Our ideal candidate is:
- Patient, calm, and encouraging
- Creative and flexible in their teaching approach
- Able to build a positive, trusting relationship
- Reliable and punctual
Experience working with students with ADHD and/or autism is not required, but it would certainly be a plus.
Commitment: We are looking for someone who can commit to at least one full semester, with a full school-year commitment strongly preferred.
Location: Trinity Lutheran School – Franktown, CO
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00–8:00 AM
