EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution of higher education. Master’s degree or higher preferred.
- Five years directly related successful experience in enrollment services area, such as records or admissions’ office in an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Experience/knowledge of immigration rules and regulations.
- Prior experience in planning and supervising personnel.
- Prior experience/knowledge with software as it pertains to enrollment services.
- Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague software preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS
- Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and in public speaking.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner.
- Ability to identify problems, to take initiative in solving them, and to carry through the required actions to completion.
- Essential customer and human relations skills.
- Ability to develop consensus through collegial consultation and collaboration. Ability to lead and manage multi-functional offices.
- Demonstrated commitment to and sensitivity in working with faculty, staff, and students as well as community groups of various academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply mathematical operations and interpret basic statistical analysis.
