The Role: What You'll Do
As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the leadership team to maintain our high standards of food, fun, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Floor: Supervise Front of House (FOH) operations, ensuring all staff members comply with Hot N Juicy Crawfish policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Build the Team: Oversee staff hiring, onboarding, and hands-on training.
- Cultivate Culture: Manage employees with a positive, motivating attitude to maintain a fun and energetic atmosphere for both staff and guests.
- Master Operations: Gain deep knowledge of ordering, maintaining inventory, and managing daily operational tasks.
- Safety First: Maintain strict health code and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant to ensure a flawless, clean environment.
What We Are Looking For
You don't need years of prior management experience to succeed here—we will train you! However, you do need a strong work ethic, a love for the restaurant industry, and a natural ability to lead.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 1 year of restaurant experience (Full-service restaurant background preferred) and 1 year of leadership experience.
- Availability: Ability to work a full-time schedule (50–55 hours/week) including 10-hour shifts across day, evening, and night shifts. Weekends and holidays are required.
- Certifications: Must have a valid Driver's License and a Food Handler / Food Protection Certificate (or the ability to obtain one quickly).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong communication, active attentiveness to customer needs, and creative, independent problem-solving skills.
- Location: Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Fountain Valley, CA 92708 before starting work.
