Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. Duties
- Establish and enforce rules of behavior and manners for children in the classroom.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful environment
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
- Provide positive tools and resources for children to use to explore during learning activities, paint, play dough, glue, dot markers, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, behavioral incidents, and developmental assessments
- Support toddlers’ care routines including diapering, feeding, and nap times while ensuring adherence to child welfare standards
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom management skills are preferred but not required, willing to train the right person.
- Toddler and preschool teachers work with young children on basic skills such as colors, letters, and number recognition, and social skills.
- Manage lesson plans, outside play imaginative play, bathroom skills, meals, and rest times.
- Monitor and gently correct children's behavior in the classroom.
- Keep an open communication to other staff and parents.
- Have patience, compassion, and devotion to their young students. Teachers need to be devoted, prompt, and dependable to meet the needs of everyone.
