Koi New York is looking for an experienced Breakfast/Lunch Line cook to join our Team!
We are looking to hire immediately based on candidate's availability and qualifications.
FULL TIME AVAILABLE
Compensation: $23 - 25 per hour
Weekday Breakfast/Lunch Line cook job description:
- Flexible schedule required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy restaurant environment
- Ability to work efficiently with a strong sense of urgency
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
- Ability to maintain the kitchen according to Health Department safety standards
- Knowledge of professional cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Knowledgeable in American Breakfast
- Has butchering skills for multiple fish and shellfish
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to restaurant standards
- Prep and restock for upcoming shifts
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 20 – 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Knowledge of food allergies
- NYC Food Protection Certificate preferred
