Quality Inspectors - [1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift]
Lansing, MI | $16.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Available Shifts - Monday-Friday:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support automotive manufacturing operations in Lansing, MI. This position is responsible for ensuring automotive parts and components meet established quality standards prior to production, assembly, and shipment. Candidates will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment performing inspection, sorting, containment, and quality assurance duties while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and manual inspections of automotive parts and components to identify defects, damage, or quality concerns
- Conduct sorting, containment, and rework activities in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards
- Remove and separate non-conforming materials from acceptable production inventory
- Follow detailed work instructions, inspection procedures, and company safety policies
- Accurately document inspection results and production information using tablets and electronic tracking systems
- Organize inspected materials and prepare approved products for assembly or shipment
- Assist production and quality teams in maintaining workflow efficiency and meeting customer deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Communicate quality issues, production concerns, and inventory discrepancies to supervisors and team leads
- Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain compliance with company quality standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or quality inspection environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize defects and inconsistencies
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the duration of the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities
- Basic computer, tablet, or electronic data entry experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Reliable attendance, professionalism, and a strong work ethic required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy and consistency
