Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This role is responsible for completing general maintenance work orders across multiple residential properties while providing excellent service to residents. Technicians must be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly, and traveling between job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance across multiple properties
- Communicate with residents regarding maintenance needs, scheduling, and updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Report any major repair needs or safety concerns to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at each job site
Required Skills & Experience
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- Minor drywall repair (patching, sanding, finishing)
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Basic electrical work (e.g., replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets)
- Basic plumbing repairs (e.g., P-traps, wax rings, toilet internals)
- Ability to diagnose and complete minor repairs without direct supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good time management and ability to prioritize multiple work orders
Customer Service Expectations
- Provide professional, respectful, and courteous interactions with residents
- Clearly explain work being performed and any follow-up needed
- Communicate proactively about scheduling, delays, or additional issues discovered
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times
Transportation Requirements
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
- Ability to transport tools and basic materials as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or apartment maintenance
- Familiarity with mobile work order systems
- General knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and use of tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay: $26.66 - $35.00 per hour
