American Traveler is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift position at a pediatric specialty facility in Johnston, Iowa.

Pediatric specialty facility focused on complex neurological and developmental diagnoses
-
Patient diagnoses include cerebral palsy (CP), spinal cord injury, birth injury, motor vehicle accidents, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), Trisomy 21, and Rett syndrome
-
Specialized equipment includes CPT machine, Volara, MetaNeb, cough assist, ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and tracheostomies

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Every other weekend required

13-week contract
-
CRT or RRT credential required
-
Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience

Pediatric experience required

Current BLS certification required

Valid state respiratory therapy license required if applicable

Experience with specialized respiratory equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomies, and airway clearance devices

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients with complex neurological and developmental conditions

All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
