Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic and passionate dance teacher to join our team for the 2026/2027 school year! The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children ages 3-11 in beginner level jazz, hip-hop, and ballet.
Responsibilities:
- Teach jazz, hip-hop, and ballet classes for children ages 3-11
- Create age-appropriate lesson plans that balance technique, fun, and creativity
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Choreograph routines for recitals
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio staff
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during class
Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching dance to young children
- Strong knowledge of beginner level jazz, hip-hop, and ballet techniques
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with kids
- Ability to create a structured yet fun classroom environment
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Excellent classroom management skills
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time hours, normally 2:00 - 4:30 timeframe
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Opportunities for additional teaching hours in the morning and evening depending on availability of classes and experience.
