Job Summary
The Pump Station Installer joins our team to provide exceptional wastewater management services to residential and commercial customers. This role installs and commissions pump stations to ensure efficient, compliant operations that protect public health and the environment. This position also supports Weed Precast’s production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install and commission water and wastewater pump stations, including pumps, valves, controls, and related equipment. Installation and assist in proper assembly of box culverts and commercial tanks. Installation of wastewater treatment systems.
- Precast Work: Set up forms and perform associated tasks like coring and concrete repair.
- Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair infield issues that arise, like, pump station, tanks, manholes, treatment systems, ex… for warranty work or existing systems. Perfom repairs and maintenance work on forklifts, forms, coring equipment, and other tools and equipment
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with contractors, residential, and commercial clients to address service needs and provide technical support.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve installation issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment specs, installation dates, and issues encountered.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work with engineers, maintenance personnel, and technicians to coordinate project tasks.
- Other Duties: Assist with shop projects as needed.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in wastewater treatment is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in wastewater treatment or a similar field. Experience with both residential and commercial systems is a plus.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification and Confined Space Entry training.
- Driving Requirements: Valid Drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent time management.
Working Conditions
- Environment: Handling precast concrete products at jobsites. Exposure to sewer waste when servicing existing systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform heavy physical exertion in varying weather conditions.
- Travel: Driving a company service vehicle to various jobsites.
- Hours: Standard full-time business hours. Overtime is required during peak project phases.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
