Arlington Infant and Toddler Center has been serving the local community since 1983. AITC is a full day, year round center, serving children ages 3 months to 5 years old.
Pre-K Teaching position available!!! Arlington Infant Toddler Center has full time or part time teaching position available for a Pre-K teacher. Candidates should be EEC teacher certified or have a pending certification through EEC as well as their Strong Start 2.0 Essential Trainings complete. Childcare candidates should be energetic, passionate, motivated and willing to learn and work in a team environment.
Pre-K Teacher Responsibilities include but are not limited to, continuous engagement with children, development and implementation of curriculum, classroom management, care and supervision, child evaluations and parent communication. Work environment includes classroom, outdoor playground and occasional field trips.
Pre-K Teachers are required to sit, talk, walk, hear and engage with children on the floor, at learning centers and at their eye level. Teachers will need to occasionally lift and/or move children. Preschool Teachers are occasionally required to run during play or when needed to respond in an emergency situation. Vision ability required for supervision of child. Noise level is moderate to very loud.
