Job Title: Part-Time Sausage Maker / Baker and Cashier
La Diva Donuts is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Sausage Maker / Baker and Cashier to assist with early morning bakery operations and customer service. This position involves preparing sausage rolls, assisting with baking products, and performing cashier duties during the morning shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, assemble, and bake sausage rolls and related food products.
Assist with baking donuts and other bakery items as needed.
Measure, prepare, and organize ingredients for daily production.
Monitor baking and cooking times to ensure product quality and consistency.
Assist with opening preparations to ensure products are ready for sale when the store opens.
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Operate the cash register and process customer payments.
Take customer orders and assist with packaging bakery items.
Restock display cases, bags, boxes, napkins, and other front-counter supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, baking equipment, cashier area, and work areas.
Stock and organize ingredients, supplies, and bakery products.
Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Perform other bakery, cashier, and store-related duties as assigned by management.
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 5:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M.
Saturday and Sunday: 5:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
Day Off: Tuesday
Total Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Compensation
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour, including tips
Estimated annual earnings: Approximately $26,520 per year, depending on hours worked.
Qualifications
No prior baking experience required; training will be provided.
Prior cashier or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
Ability to work early morning shifts.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly attitude and ability to communicate well with customers.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn bakery production and customer service duties.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
