Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be able to work with various materials, including sheet metal and pipe. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.
- Operate additional equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutting tools, and cranes as needed.
- Conduct soldering tasks and pipe threading to support project requirements.
- Utilize machining tools and calipers for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Rig materials for safe handling during the welding process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding is required.
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines, plasma cutting equipment, and other welding-related tools is preferred.
- Experience in working with sheet metal and performing pipe threading is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues as they arise.
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
