We are seeking an organized and proactive Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to be responsible for planning and scheduling all the preventative maintenance and repairs for facilities and equipment at Chiyoda. This position will be the owner of the Maintain-X program and use it to schedule maintenance and suggest changes to better manage our preventative maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and assign workorders through Maintain-X. Will be responsible for creating any reports needed.

Plan schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance activities to production requirements.

Conduct Preventative Maintenance audits to include condition and documentation.

Help develop inventory items to keep on hand, and setup/sustain inventory items in Maintain-X.

Create/Maintain inventory bar codes and Machine QR codes, keeping up to date at all times.
- Assign and dispatch work orders to a team of technicians.

Investigate maintenance-related problems, analyze root causes and drive resolutions.

Assure compliance with proper safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Setup/Manage all aspects of the Maintain X System.

Keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Create purchase requisitions as needed.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma, associate’s degree or equivalent work experience a plus
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to others at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office preference for those with experience with MaintainX or similar and CMMS.

Basic math skills – add, subtract, multiply, decimals.

Ability to read Electrical/Mechanical prints.

Present complex situations in a concise manner to those at all levels of the organization.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
