Steps Recovery Center is a co-ed adult residential treatment program specializing in dual-diagnosis treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps individuals build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable House Manager to join our leadership team. This position plays a critical role in the daily operations of our residential facility and serves as a key liaison between multiple departments to ensure clients receive the highest quality of care.
The House Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the residential program, supervises direct care staff, supports client services, and works collaboratively with admissions, medical, culinary, and clinical teams. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who maintains firm boundaries, communicates effectively, solves problems proactively, and thrives in a fast-paced treatment environment.

Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and support Psych Tech/line staff.

Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.

Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage.

Assist with oversight and support of the on-site chef and dietary operations.

Collaborate closely with nursing and medical staff to support client care needs.

Coordinate with the admissions team regarding incoming clients and new intakes.

Work alongside the clinical team to ensure smooth communication and implementation of treatment plans.

Help coordinate daily programming, schedules, recreational activities, and experiential outings.

Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for clients and staff.

Address operational challenges and make timely decisions to support program success.

Foster a positive team culture through accountability, recognition, and leadership.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold program expectations.

Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

At least 1 year sobriety.

Pass a background check
Preferred:
-
Previous experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, healthcare, or residential care.

Previous supervisory or management experience.

Experience working with dual-diagnosis populations.
