Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are followed.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of workstations, including bussing tables and sanitation duties.
- Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and accurately process cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food handling procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team to deliver timely service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety management, and proper handling techniques.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Food industry experience including serving, bussing, sanitation, or kitchen work is a plus.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.
