Maximus has an exciting opportunity available for Licensed Mental Health Professionals and Registered Nurses in the State of Maine. We are seeking Licensed Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Counselors (LPCs & LCPCs), Licensed Therapists (LMFTs), and Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to complete assessments on a flexible, fee-for-service basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn extra money and set your own schedule while providing a valuable service to the adult citizens of Maine!
About Maximus Clinical Services:
Maximus is a leader in providing specialized assessment services and is partnered with the State of Maine to administer PASRR (Pre-admission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.
PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that all individuals seeking admittance to a Medicaid-certified nursing facility are evaluated for mental illness, offered the most appropriate setting for their needs, and receive the services they need in those settings.
We are partnering with quality-driven, clinical mental health professionals throughout the State of Maine to administer PASRR assessments on a PRN basis.
Position Details and Responsibilities:
- Assessments can be accepted or declined as your schedule allows. There are no quotas.
- Assessments can be scheduled during a time that is convenient and are due within 4 days from the time of acceptance.
- PASRR assessments are primarily administered in hospitals and nursing facilities. These must be completed in person.
- Assessments will be completed within your community and surrounding communities. There is no office to report to.
- Independent contractors are compensated per completed assessment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be actively licensed in Maine as a RN, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LCPC.
- Two or more years of professional mental and behavioral health experience.
- Must be conflict of interest free, which includes: no current employment with nursing facilities.
