Position Purpose:
To provide customer service support for all customers. Maintain, analyze, and report product inventories for all customer orders and movements.
Primary Responsibility:

Serve as single point of contact for customers for all order, inquiries, and issues

Manage, calculate, close and post all customer orders in internal and external systems, including truck, rail, marine, pipeline, tank to tank, sampling, and other miscellaneous orders

Ensures accuracy of customer orders and charges

Analyzes inventory levels on all movements to ensure acceptable over/short tolerance

Calculate, review, and investigate all tank variances
-
Maintain effective relationships with customers; work with customers to resolve inventory discrepancies.

Respond timely to all customer inquiries

Prepare, review and report customers' daily inventory activity, current inventory levels and monthly stock accounting reports and distribute via e-mail by customer specific deadlines

Review, maintain and reconcile daily tank inventory levels

Review and troubleshoot Intervention transactions affecting inventory

Review and post all service charges, by tank, in ORDER AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM for customer billing

Post monthly physical gauges for month-end reporting

Prepare and transmit monthly stock and charge files to Accounting for billing

Resolve billing discrepancies with Accounting/Customer Support/customer

Prepare and distribute Wharfage report and various other throughput reports
Additional Responsibilities:

File and maintain service orders for all movements in tank files

Calculate and confirm all Customers' (shore tank quantity) marine and transfer activity with external surveying companies

Review all completed Customers' orders for special reporting requirements of bill of lading, certificate of analysis and weight tickets

Distribute all tank truck and tank car bills of lading and weight tickets to Customers, as necessary.

Cross-training of personnel

Working knowledge and back-up of Inventory positions within Customer Service

Prepare incident reports, when necessary

Attend customer meetings
Qualifications
-
High School diploma/GED
-
SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Order and Inventory Management System preferred
-
10-Key by touch
-
Chemical inventory experience preferred
-
General accounting experience preferred
-
Customer service experience preferred

Effective verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated, detail-oriented
