Althing Clinics are located in Austin, MN and in Albert Lea, MN serving the community, in addition to providing proactive mental health services in School Districts (grades 6-12); to sports teams, and corporations across the state. The Althing Clinic provides equal services to all demographics and this is currently the only opportunity to support and guide medical services with full innovative control where the entity provides FDA grade hardware, secure software, novel and adaptive Communication and Information Theory Empowered (CITE) methods and strong industry partnerships.

The primary responsibility is to provide professional mental health services including assessments, evaluations, crisis interventions, therapy and psychosocial education services on-site at the clinic and virtually.
Mental Health Professional Responsibilities:
- Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments
- Provide mental health evaluations and creation of safety and treatment plans
- Crisis interventions
- Ability to provide psychotherapy services
- Coordinate care services to ensure holistic support for our clients
- Develop individualized treatment and safety plans using appropriate diagnostic criteria
- Confidence in virtual and in-person settings
- Documentation and scheduling in electronic health record (Athena)
- Participate in all clinical staff meetings
- Promote self and practice within the community
- Occasional travel to support district health, athlete health and employee health services on site.
Mental Health Professional Requirements:
- Current Minnesota mental health license (LPCC, LICSW)
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field with eligibility for clinical supervision toward licensure
- Strong crisis management skills to handle urgent situations with care and efficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other members of the clinical team
- Strong organizational skills and understanding of documentation requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to successfully complete background check
- Proactive, motivated individual with a passion for innovative mental health services
*Clinical supervision towards LICSW/LCSW/LPCC hours provided by Althing Clinical Supervisor
