Suny Upstate is seeking a clinical psychology position dedicated to a diverse and often at risk in-patient population. Part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, psychologists and trainees. Responsible for all aspects of therapy and psychological assessment, including case formulation, diagnosis, case management and presentation and report writing.
Ph.D. or Psy.D. and NYS license (or eligible) Psychologist required but must receive license within two years of employment. Post doctoral candidates needing only supervised hours toward licensure will be considered and supervision can be provided. *If currently unlicensed, a limited permit is required.
Experience working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy and mental health experience working with adolescent patients strongly preferred.
