We are an independent optical retail practice seeking a full-time or part-time Optical Sales Associate and/or Optometry Medical Biller to join our team. Our private practice is conveniently located in the Heights shopping district on Central Avenue in Jersey City, just minutes from New York City by car, bus, or train.
Office Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
While not every day is required, Saturday availability and reliable schedule coverage are essential. We are flexible in considering candidates who can cover part or most of our operating hours.
We currently have immediate full-time availability, with part-time opportunities also available for qualified candidates. Compensation is competitive, based on experience, and negotiable.
Requirements:
- Optical sales experience or optical/optometry medical billing experience is required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced private practice environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
