Backup Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Schedule is Flexible: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 30-35 hours per week, may include weekend hours.
Seeking: Part time direct care professional with flexible scheduling to work mornings and afternoons to provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the Kenansville and Clinton areas.
About This Position (DSPs):
- All trainings will be provided by A Caring Heart.
- Provide instruction to individuals to help them learn, retain, or improve skills for maximal functioning.
- Skill building focuses on self-care, household maintenance, social and communication skills, money management, social and community inclusion, mobility employment, and self-regulation.
- Services will be provided in the home, community and day program.
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain flexible schedule for purposes of being a backup DSP.
- Must be dependable with a good work ethic.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and safe driving record.
- Must have a valid drivers license and state minimum auto insurance.
- Background checks will be performed on all applicants.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
