Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selections, including conducting product demos to highlight features and benefits
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and upselling opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products
- Process retail sales transactions efficiently while adhering to phone etiquette standards when assisting customers over the phone
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product placement
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase store sales volume
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to connect effectively with diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Experience supervising or leading team members is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently and conduct engaging product demos
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math to support store operations effectively
