Cook – Perla Coffee Co. & Eatery
Perla Coffee Co. & Eatery is a fast-growing, family-owned café dedicated to serving high-quality breakfast, brunch, specialty coffee, and fresh handcrafted meals. We are looking for a reliable, experienced cook who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.
The ideal candidate has experience working on a flat-top griddle, preparing breakfast and lunch items, assembling sandwiches and paninis, completing daily food prep, maintaining kitchen inventory, and following food safety and sanitation standards. Attention to detail, speed, organization, and a positive attitude are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items on a flat-top griddle.
- Assemble sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and other menu items according to recipes.
- Complete daily food prep and ensure ingredients are properly labeled and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate when products need to be reordered.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
- Work efficiently with the front-of-house team to provide excellent customer service.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or breakfast cook preferred.
- Experience using a flat-top griddle.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Food safety knowledge is a plus.
