Our Audit Department serves as the quality control center of our operation, ensuring every transaction is complete, compliant, and ready for processing. About the Role
As a DMV Audit Specialist, you'll play a critical role in our operations by reviewing vehicle title and registration transactions before they move into processing.
Your work directly impacts our turnaround times, customer satisfaction, and the quality of every transaction we complete.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, accountability, and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review vehicle title and registration transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Verify ownership documents and supporting paperwork
- Prepare state-specific DMV forms and documentation
- Calculate registration fees, taxes, and applicable DMV charges
- Ensure transactions comply with state DMV regulations and company standards
- Identify missing, inaccurate, or incomplete documentation
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve documentation issues
- Prepare completed transactions for the Processing Department
- Maintain accurate electronic records and workflow updates
- Contribute to continuous improvements in quality and efficiency
Qualifications
Required
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional attitude with a willingness to learn
- Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
Preferred
Experience in one or more of the following:
- DMV or Title & Registration
- Automotive dealership operations
- Auto finance or lending
- Banking or financial services
- Insurance
- Compliance or document review
No DMV experience? No problem.

Compensation
$22.00–$27.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and performance.
