Looking for an Executive Pastry Chef to lead the pastry program at a luxury resort, overseeing multiple outlets including upscale dining, casual concepts, and high-volume banquet operations, with a focus on elevating the overall culinary experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage and develop a pastry team (4 cooks + 1 pastry sous)
- Well-spoken, polished leader who aligns with a luxury resort brand and elevated culinary standards
- Strong background in upscale pastry programs with a focus on presentation and creativity
- Experience in high-volume, multi-outlet environments with consistent execution
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in upscale restaurants, hotels, or resort environments
- Lead and develop pastry team, fostering a positive, efficient, and high-performance culture
- Oversee daily pastry operations across multiple outlets including restaurant, IRD, and banquets (500+ covers)
- Support menu development with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced, and ingredient-driven desserts
- Manage food cost, labor, inventory, and ordering to meet financial goals
- Collaborate with Executive Chef and FOH leadership to ensure seamless guest experience and elevated execution
Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
