Job Overview
We are a growing company seeking an experienced local dump truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to report to our Raleigh location to begin each workday. We provide the dump truck, and our projects are primarily located throughout the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Apex areas.

Duties:
- Safely operate dump truck across assigned routes.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load and unload materials with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport.
- Deliver materials to various destinations, managing route driving with precision and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate truck maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively regarding route adjustments or delivery updates.
Experience/Requirements:
- At least 2+ years proven experience in truck driving.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record and no points on your license.
- Must be willing to take a drug test.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards related to truck loading/unloading.
- Demonstrated ability to manage manual handling tasks safely and efficiently during load & unload processes.
