Job Overview:
We are currently seeking several compassionate, dependable, active, and non-smoking individuals to provide personal support and community inclusion services for individuals living with disabilities. Experience or education in early childhood development, familiarity with ASL, and knowledge of ABA practices are all highly valued for this role.
A major part of this position involves community integration and engagement. Staff will support clients in participating fully in recreational programs, volunteer opportunities, and employment settings. Responsibilities also include light housekeeping, meal assistance, personal hygiene support, medication assistance, and general day-to-day care. Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and helping them thrive independently. Must also work well with others on the team including a service dog that accompanies the individual daily.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities may be available, including split shifts, based on experience, availability, and individual strengths. A reliable, registered, and insured vehicle is required for full-time positions and some hourly shifts. All applicants must successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Position Summary:
This role helps individuals with disabilities live as independently as possible while actively participating in their communities and daily routines. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as grooming, hygiene, feeding, and medication reminders/administration.
- Working closely with family members and support teams to maintain high-quality care.
- Completing household duties including meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, pet care and errands.
- Encouraging and supporting participation in community and recreational activities.
- Teaching and encouraging independent living skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Providing emotional encouragement and companionship when needed.
- Promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment for clients.
- Identifying unusual or potentially unsafe situations and responding appropriately.
- Helping clients expand their access to community resources, extracurricular opportunities, and hobbies.
- Supporting clients in advocating for their needs and assisting with workplace accommodations when applicable.
Pay: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour
