About the Role
The Partnership Success Coach (PSC) is a strategic partner and instructional coach for Flashlight Learning's school and district partners. PSCs are responsible for building strong relationships and ensuring successful implementation, meaningful adoption, and long-term customer success.
You will work directly with teachers, instructional coaches, school administrators, and district leaders from initial onboarding and launch through ongoing implementation, data analysis, professional learning, renewal, and growth.
This is an ideal role for an experienced educator who enjoys coaching adults, building relationships, analyzing data, solving problems, and helping schools turn great tools into meaningful student outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead onboarding and implementation for assigned school and district partners.
- Develop and facilitate district and campus success plans with clear goals and measures of success.
- Build trusted relationships with teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders.
- Deliver engaging professional learning in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Coach educators on using Flashlight Learning effectively to strengthen instruction and support multilingual learners.
- Monitor customer health, product usage, engagement, and implementation progress.
- Proactively identify implementation challenges and develop action plans to address them.
- Prepare and analyze implementation, usage, and student data to lead meaningful, data-driven conversations with customers.
- Conduct regular strategic meetings with district and school leaders to evaluate progress and determine next steps.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technology, rostering, and implementation issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer goals, progress, risks, and next steps.
- Partner with Sales to support customer renewals, expansion opportunities, and strategic account planning.
- Provide instructional and implementation expertise during pre-sale conversations when appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- A passion for Flashlight Learning's mission and supporting multilingual learners.
- 5+ years of experience in K–12 education, customer success, educational technology, or a related field.
- Experience working directly with schools and/or school districts.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, presentation, and professional learning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple district partnerships.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach—you identify needs and act rather than waiting for problems to arise.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels of a school system.
- Cultural responsiveness and empathy for the diverse students, educators, families, and communities we serve.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or at least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience working with K–12 schools or districts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and professional learning in person and virtually using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.
- Ability to meet applicable fingerprinting and background-check requirements for working on school campuses.
- Ability and willingness to travel by car and airplane to partner schools and districts.
- Must reside within the designated geographic region for the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Classroom teaching experience.
- Instructional coaching, school leadership, or district leadership experience.
- Experience supporting multilingual learners.
- ESL/ELD certification or endorsement.
- Experience with educational technology, implementation, or customer success.
- Experience using student achievement and/or product-usage data to drive decisions.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary: $80,000 annually, with final compensation based on relevant experience, qualifications, and the requirements of the position.
