Full-time, highly motivated, student-centered Academic Advisor. This position will work with Packaging Undergraduate students.
The Academic Advisor will provide guidance to students on appropriate course selection, long-term academic/degree planning, internship and co-op exploration, and career placement.
Connect students with relevant campus resources and support services when additional assistance is required.
Maintain accurate, organized, confidential documentation of all student interactions.
Engage with prospective students and their families throughout university and college events.
Collaborate closely with faculty, advisors, and staff across the greater university community to stay abreast of university policies and procedures that impact student matriculation and success.
Work occasional evenings or weekends to support key advising initiatives and student-facing success events.
This is a fixed-term in-person academic specialist position with an initial appointment of one year from the employee’s start date. The position is renewable and contingent upon continued funding, satisfactory performance, and mutual agreement.

Masters
Bachelors -Student Affairs, Counseling, Higher Education, or related field.
Experience with Campus Solutions, Qualtrics, D2L, and data management systems that provide critical data regarding undergraduate students.
