Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Worker to join our team and contribute to various building projects. This role involves hands-on work in construction sites, utilizing carpentry skills and operating power tools. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of reading tape measures to ensure precise measurements and quality workmanship.
Duties
- Perform carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for construction projects
- Use power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Read tape measures accurately to ensure proper dimensions and specifications are met
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up scaffolding and organizing materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to quality standards
- Support various construction activities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a strong work ethic
Skills
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques and familiarity with common hand and power tools
