Overview
****MUST HAVE CORRUGATED EXPERIENCE****
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to efficiently move, locate, and store CORRUGATED products within our facility. This role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to OSHA regulations while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in training programs for heavy equipment operation and safety practices.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Experience
- Previous experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment for CORRUAGETD MATERIALS IS REQUIRED
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
