A Field Service Technician is responsible for supporting our customer while leading and assisting in the installation, start-up, and servicing of our products. You'll maintain proactive customer and team communication, provide remote and in-person technical support for customers and installation teams, and prioritize safety both on-site at customer locations and in-house.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to lead or assist in the installation, start-up, and servicing of our Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor Equipment, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely results

Provide remote technical support to customers when not on-site, helping troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment performance

Communicate technical details and instructions clearly and professionally to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction

Prioritize safety in all aspects of service work, both in-house and on-site

Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Sales, Operations) by providing post-project feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement

Support company procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery

Maintain proactive customer follow-up and ongoing relationship management

Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe—wherever you are

Travel up to 80% each week, home each weekend
Job Requirements

Associate's degree in Electronic, Hydraulic, or Mechanical Technology or related field

2+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley MicroLogix

Minimum 5 years of field service experience, preferably in heavy equipment or material handling

Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (U.S., Canada, Mexico) up to 80%

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Valid passport

Strong customer service and communication skills

Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems
-
Able to read engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals

Strong time management, independence, and organizational skills

Self-starter with ability to handle competing priorities and work under pressure
Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and reaching

Frequent lifting/moving of 25 lbs.; occasional lifting/moving up to 100 lbs. with assistance
