We specialize in excavation, grading, paving, and utilities for large commercial and residential developments. As we expand our operations in Northern Nevada, we are looking for skilled equipment operators to join our growing team.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to safely and efficiently operate a variety of construction equipment, including dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and backhoes. The ideal candidates will have strong operating skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to support the successful completion of heavy civil construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment to perform grading, excavation, paving, trenching, and site development
- Follow project plans, specifications, and directions from supervisors
- Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere to all company and OSHA safety standards
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project goals and deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Knowledge of grading, excavation, and utility installation preferred
- Ability to read grade stakes, plans, and elevations a plus
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
- OSHA 10/30
