The New York Deli in Williamsburg, Virginia is looking for energetic Front Line Team Members to greet customers, take orders and help with lunch and dinner service. Applicants should be at least 18, have food service experience and availability to work afternoons, evenings and weekends. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assist customers with menu selection and answer all questions in a respectful and patient manner.
Repeat customers orders for accuracy before entering them into the point of sale system.
Ensure that all opening, midday and closing duties are completed.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Operate the cash register and maintain a balanced drawer.
Answer the phones and take orders.
During peak times help expedite dine in and carry out orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
