Job Summary
We are looking for motivated and reliable Kitchen Staff to become an essential part of our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of kitchen duties, from food preparation to maintaining cleanliness and supporting food service operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a smooth flow of service.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and safe food handling practices during stock rotation and ingredient movement.
- Contribute to food running and serving duties, ensuring timely delivery of orders to guests or dining areas.
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when needed.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including kitchen experience, banquet service, or hotel food service is a plus.
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques is beneficial for handling kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Experience with food safety standards and culinary procedures enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
