What You’ll Do
- You’ll be an essential part of the surgical team, ensuring safe and efficient procedures:
- Function as both scrub tech and first assist during surgical procedures
- Provide exposure using retraction, suctioning, and instrumentation techniques
- Assist with tissue handling, hemostasis, and wound closure (suturing, stapling)
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure strict infection control practices
- Anticipate surgeon needs and respond quickly in dynamic OR settings
- Support patient safety through careful instrument counts and positioning
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for the next case
What You Bring
- CST required
- CSFA or CSA certification required
- BLS required
