Garden Care Division Manager - hiring immediately
We're looking for talented individuals who are as passionate as we are about landscape design, installation and maintenance! If you have a creative mind and are an "out-of-the-box" thinker, with a touch of environmental guardianship in your blood, we'd love to meet you! We are a small landscaping company in San Francisco that was built from the ground up by people like you. For more than 35 years JML has inspired, and been inspired by, local gardeners who share their enthusiasm for the creation of ecologically sound garden designs. We're now a team of 18 who enjoy common goals.
We're currently looking a for team member with the following qualifications/experience:
- Extensive knowledge in plant identification and horticultural best practices
- Familiar with, and dedicated to integrated pest management
- Ability to perform and teach seasonal pruning techniques for ornamental plants
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with experience working with clients, subcontractors, and staff
- Understanding of general business practices and ability to work as part of a management team to achieve company financial goals
- 2+ years experience managing direct reports, facilitating training and career development
