Be the steady link between our manufacturing plant and off‑site warehouse, moving raw materials in and finished parts out with precision and care.
- Safely maneuver CDL‑A tractors and trailers; position units for efficient loading/unloading.
- Operate a Hi‑Lo/Forklift to support Shipping/Receiving as needed.
- Transport materials between facilities while meeting planned schedules.
- Conduct inspections on vehicles/equipment; perform basic preventive checks.
- Comply with DOT and company rules (size, weight, routing, parking) and all policies.
- Maintain accurate time logs and required delivery documentation.
- Collect/verify instructions; promptly report defects, accidents, or violations.
- Assist with other assigned tasks to keep operations on track.
- Dependable attendance; work the hours required to meet commitments.
- Keep docks and work areas organized and efficient.
- Provide timely, accurate feedback to teammates and leaders; practice open communication.
- Adhere to safety and quality systems including ISO14001 and IATF16949.
- Maintain a respectful, positive team environment; uphold E&E values.
- Work near loud, moving machinery; moderate noise with presses and traffic.
- May encounter wet/humid (non‑weather), outdoor weather, and vibration.
- PPE in production zones: safety‑toed shoes, sleeves, gloves, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year CDL‑A tractor‑trailer experience; OTR and/or local preferred.
- Active, clean CDL‑A, vehicle registration, and current DOT medical card.
- Computer basics (MS Word, Excel).
- Effective communication with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Read/interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule‑based instructions.
- Detail orientation; ability to organize and meet multiple deadlines.
