Role Description
TriPex Solutions is looking for a Foreman Electrician looking for a growth opportunity. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and genuinely care for their craftsmanship. As the Foreman Electrician, you're responsible for all aspects of a wide variety of Electrical duties from MPUs, wire runs, circuit relocations, and other given assignments as directed by your superiors, including installation, maintenance, inspection, conduit bending, troubleshooting, and repairs. May include but not be limited to a variety of electrical operations duties.
Responsibilities
- Create layout of electrical circuits
- Compile material and parts lists
- Perform or oversee all maintenance wiring, including installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, testing, and power circuits
- Determine the appropriate size and specifications of wires, conduits, switches, panels, fuses, etc.
- Read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams
- Inspect motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating, and power circuits
- Conduct preventive and running repairs and corrections
- Perform or oversee the installation, connection, adjustment, and calibration of electrical gauges and recording instruments
- Must have a license where required or equivalent electrical work experience
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs, RTDs, and vacuum/pressure transducers
- At least 8 years of electrical experience on industrial equipment
- Available for on-call rotation for after-hour emergencies
- Ensure proper job documentation is completed upon completion
- Willing to travel to job locations (Bay Area, San Joaquin Valley, etc.)
- Must be able to work professionally with upper management
Secondary & Duties
- May supervise other electricians.
- May make repairs on ignition and electrical systems of automotive equipment
- May rewind motors
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule – i.e – 7 days a week
- 8+ years of electrical experience
