Description:
A Hospitality Attendant will clean, restock, and maintain the cleanliness of guest corridors, elevators, and all assigned areas.
Essential Job Functions

Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).

Always comply with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

Always maintain a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Be familiar with the hotel’s standard operating procedures.

Interact with all guests and employees in a friendly and courteous manner.

Ensure the correct and timely setup of all breakfast order functions.
-
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the food area, pre-function space and storage areas including the carpets, walls, walks, windows, and heating/air conditioning units, etc.

Be familiar with the fire exit and extinguisher location and follow all hotel safety rules.

Breakdown after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Prepares and serves the daily complimentary breakfast bar.

Greets each guest and ensures guests are satisfied.
-
Ensures breakfast area is sufficiently stocked at all times.

Ensures cleanliness of the breakfast and common public area

Cleans and disinfects bathroom and kitchenette or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel policy.

Vacuum floors and remove trash.

Checks complimentary coffee, snacks, and toiletry supplies, restocking according to the provided hotel checklist and policy.

Notifies the maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs.

Takes found items to designated lost and found areas if a guest has checked out.

Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:

Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Ability to stand during entire shift.

Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests.

Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Education and Experience:
-
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
