We are seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered middle school teacher to help shape the next generation of kingdom-impacting leaders. At VCCS, education is more than academics - it's ministry. Responsibilities
- Teach engaging and inquiry-based science lessons aligned with a biblical worldview
- Lead students through exciting topics in life science, earth science, and physical science
- Use hands-on labs, creative projects, and real-world applications to deepen understanding
- Cultivate a classroom culture that is Christ-honoring, respectful, and intellectually curious
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich curriculum and support student success
- Integrate prayer, scripture, and spiritual truths into daily instruction
- Encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and see God’s design in all things
Qualifications
- A committed Christian who lives out their faith with integrity
- A licensed or degreed educator with experience in middle school science (or a related field)
- A skilled communicator and relationship-builder who connects well with students and parents
- A team player who’s flexible, innovative, and ready to grow
- A lifelong learner who sees teaching as both a calling and a mission
