As a Weekend House Manager at Wings of God Transition Home in Paw Paw, MI, you will be an integral part of our ministry, providing a safe, faith-based Christian living environment for previously incarcerated women seeking positive life change.
Both days are available or you can apply for just the Saturday or the Sunday hours.
Hours: Saturday 1 pm- 4pm & Sunday 1 pm - 4pm
Your responsibilities will include:
Being a staff presence at the house.
Supervising program participants and overseeing adherence to house and
program rules.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Collaborate with fellow team members and follow instructions as needed.
Ensure the safety of program participants living in the house.
Maintain peace and harmony among program participants.
Build relationships with program participants, modeling a life transformed by Christ.
Expectations:
Weekly personal church attendance.
Maintain Christ-like attitude and behavior.
Give program participants Biblical practical responses to everyday life situations.
Encourage program participants to live life according to Biblical principles.
No substance use whether on site or off.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
If in recovery from substance abuse, a minimum of 5 years of continuous sobriety.
Compensation: $14
