Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience
- Proactively prepare each guest arrival based on their BONVOY profile. Use Marriott designed systems to communicate with guest and teammate’s to curate the perfect welcome
- This role requires cashiering duties, including cash drawer handling, basic math calculations, processing refunds, taking credit card payments and checks
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting via phone calls
- Promote BONVOY enrollments, understand and be able to speak to Marriott’s Loyalty Program
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves and organizing merchandise for optimal presentation
- Duties also include reviewing guest accounts prior to departure. Doing so guarantees a flawless, time efficient departure
- All candidates must have open availability. The hospitality industry is a 24/7/365 year around industry. Candidates should expect to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays (No exception)
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Some shifts are worked independently, therefore leadership skills are required.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with hospitality enhances your ability to perform confidently in this role, however it is not mandatory
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests professionally and clearly
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment
